Quiff Designs is a funky jewellery label designed and handmade in Western Australia. Kim Christian is the young perth based designer responsible for the bright expressive pieces.

"I like using contrasting materials such as combining aluminium, acrylic, sterling silver or copper, with skeleton leaves, paper or textiles. I also have a fancy for everything retro and vintage"

The label began in 2006 when Kim returned from studying in Melbourne. Since then her work has been in multiple exhibitions including ‘Illicit Making' held at FORM Gallery in 2009, participated in Unwrapped Markets and was a part of Hustle's ‘A Night Of The Circus' Fashion Show.

Kim has also taken part in ‘Designing Futures - Contemporary Wearables'. This 2007 venture saw 14 emerging WA jewellers participate in workshops and a mentorship program with highly regarded designers Jon Goulder and Julie Blyfield.

Kim's jewellery evokes the fun and fashion of earlier eras but are very much wearable and lovable for today. Her style is continually evolving in new and exciting directions "I'm always looking for new ways to express and extend my creativity."
